Vacation--Part Two--Wisconsin Dells, WI

After the family reuinon with the Helfer family, it was off to the Wisconsin Dells with the Olson's. We stayed at Christmas Mountain with the golf course in our back yard. (Ben even got to try out golfing on a real course!) We had a lot of fun swimming, mini-golfing and just relaxing.
John, Kris, Ben, Joe, Becky and Jonny went to Pirate's Cove to mini-golf there. It was pretty great...Ben got his second HOLE IN ONE! Way to go Ben!! The next two days were spent at Mt. Olympus Theme/Water park. Ben went on his first rollercoaster ride! (Then repeated it 5 more times!!!) Ben and Tommy had a great time on the go-carts. I don't think Tommy's could ever go fast enough for him!! The water park was great. The boys got to go down several water slides...but by far their favorite was the wave pool (Daddy's favorite too). The wave pool had waves that were 9 feet high!! We are now back at home....relaxing! We had so much fun spending time with both families.

Vacation--Part One--Minocqua, WI

This past week we went to "Helfer-fest" The Helfer Family Reuinion in Minocqua, WI. It was fantastic! The boys got to see...and meet so many of their second cousins! There was a great photo-op and Gigi had her picture taken with all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren! We stayed at a beautiful hotel called Lake of the Torches Hotel and Casino- (Did you know they let you jump on beds there?!)The view out our window was fantastic! Saturday morning the boys woke up and were looking out the window and saw a bald eagle catching his breakfast! The reunion was fantastic- it was so much fun to catch up with everyone and see all again! The boys had so much fun playing with everyone! Gigi even showed Ben how to play a ball game!

Though it was cool out, we still got to see beautiful sunsets

and even go for a boat ride!
