"Farmer" Boys!

The boys had a big day Thursday! We went to spend the afternoon with Carrie, Tony and Eleanor at the farm...and man was it fun!!

Tony showed us all the cows and what it was like to be a farmer. We loved looking at the baby cows and Ben even got to help feed one! Baby cows drink milk just like we do so they can get big and strong. And when they are babies, they drink out of a BIG bottle! Ben thought this was pretty neat!! After the baby cows had their lunch, Ben got to ride one! He asked and asked...but when the time came he was a little scared...

After the cow ride we went for a hike with Carrie and Eleanor.

We got to walk through the pasture and down to the bottom of a very big hill. Carrie showed us where Hay Creek starts- see the water coming right out of the hill?!

After the hike it was back to the house to play after a bath.

Ben, Tommy and Eleanor played so nicely together!

We had a lot of fun... but man-oh-man...does farming tire you out!!!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter 2009!! It was a busy Easter! We started celebrating last weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's in Zumbrota. Went to the Easter Egg hunt at the John Deere store (Ben found a lot of eggs!) We also took a hike to look for treasures...and found some neat ones (check out Ben's bucket)!Thursday we went to Becky and Joe's to spend the night...fed the fish and play a little guitar hero (Ben is quite the rock star!)It was then off to Gramma and Grampa's in Mequon. We had so much fun playing with Daddy's old toys (some of the toys were from when daddy was a baby!) Of course...the packing peanuts were a bunch of fun too!!!On Saturday we went to Madison to watch Uncle Pete row against Michigan State- Go Wisco!! **Wisconsin won every race** Uncle Pete then gave us a tour of the boat house and even showed Ben how to row! Easter Sunday we woke up and saw that the Easter Bunny visited Gramma and Grampa's!! He even hid eggs in the backyard!! We had a bunch of fun looking for eggs! The Easter Bunny is so smart- he put our names on every egg! We had a lot of fun this Easter! It was so great to see everyone!
